COOKING WITH BLUE DIAMOND

How to maximize performance.
LOW HEAT, HIGH PERFORMANCE
Our diamond-infused coating conducts heat 4x faster than traditional coatings, so your pan will heat quicker even on low to medium heat.*

SILICONE & WOOD UTENSILS
While your cookware is metal utensil safe, we recommend using plastic, silicone, or wooden utensils to prolong the life of your pan. Do not use sharp objects to cut food in your pan and avoid using force to strike the rim or surface of your cookware with utensils.

OIL OR BUTTER YOUR PAN
Not only does butter and oil make everything taste better, but it also helps disperse heat. High-smoke point oils such as refined olive oil, peanut oil, corn oil or clarified butter are best for high-heat cooking. Avoid using sprays or oils, including aerosol, mist, and pump sprays. These will carbonize on your nonstick surface. Because of the excellent heat conductivity of your pan and the nonstick layer, food and oil can carbonize very rapidly.

FOOLPROOF CLEANING

The best way to clean up.
LOW MAINTENANCE
Simply wipe any Blue Diamond pan clean with a soft sponge and some warm, soapy water. For extra convenience, our pans dishwasher safe so you can tackle tough messes with ease. Avoid abrasive detergents, steel wool, iron sponges, brushes, or cleaners containing chlorine bleach.

COOL BEFORE WASHING
Allow your pan to cool before immediately washing. Rinsing a hot pan while still hot risks thermal shock, which can warp pans and shatter glass lids.

STORE YOUR PAN PROPERLY
Do not store metal utensils inside of your pans. Always nest your pans carefully, placing pan protectors in between to protect your nonstick coating.

STUCK IN A STICKY SITUATION?

HERE’S HOW TO SMOOTH THINGS OUT!
Overheating your oils causes carbonization which creates little spots that cause your food to stick to the pan. But don’t worry! You can use a melamine sponge to wipe them away.

Here’s how you can deep clean:

For the interior: Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a near boil for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a sturdy surface such as a wooden cutting board. Carefully use a melamine sponge on the warm surface.

For the exterior: Mix baking soda and a little water to form a smooth paste; then use paper towels to rub the paste over the stained area.

BLUE DIAMOND SHARP STONE

HERE’S HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR KNIVES

CLEANING

Sharp Stone knives easily wipe clean when you’re finished using them. They are dishwasher safe for an even easier cleanup, however hand washing is recommended.

SHARPENING

Our thick stainless steel blades are extra durable, but you may notice some dulling after extensive use. Our knives are designed to be sharpened and deliver years of ultra-thin slicing.

FINISH

Over time, the finish will wear off, but this will not affect the performance of your knives.

STORAGE

Drawer: It’s best to use knife sheaths when storing knives in the drawer. That way, you don’t cut your hands and your knives are protected against dings from other utensils.
